13; Lucky Thirteeen!Hello, all! I just wanted to update you all on what's going on.
XD As you can probably see, I am now an "Official Beta Tester." Wewt. I just had to see what all the hype about the new profile layout was, and I will abmit, it's pretty nifty. dA really outdid themselves. Good job admins and design team! I love it! Not like my word means much in their eyes. Anyway, I don't know how long I'll keep my status...but for the time beaing...I like it. Also, I removed my journal design. I did it because...well...I guess I just didn't like it. xP Maybe I'll figure out how to design my own some day. Oh well...on the the journal!
First of all, it's finals week at my school, so I am "studying" hard! I already took my Environmental Science test, now I have to take US History, English III AP, and Trigonometry. I'm pretty nervous for the first two, but Trig will be easy. I feel fairly confident about how I did on the Enviro test. I really like that class. I guess it's cause I care about what we're learning. Also, I wanted to show off for my boyfriend who's in that class by doing well. I'm even doing better than him! Haha. Anyway, I'm working hard and I can't wait for this week to be over!
Secondly, it's almost Winter Break! I am leaving for Florida on December 20th and coming back January 5th. We're driving. xP That's like a 750 mile drive with my insane parents and obnoxious brothers. Gah! I don't know if I'll be able to take it! Fortunatly for me, though, I'll have my iPod and this computer to keep me occipied. Thank God! We are staying in a fancy three bedroom condo in Sarasota for this first few days and then on Christmas we are moving to my grandparents house in Boca Grande (Gasparilla Island). It's a big, beautiful house on the beach. Truely lovely. The only downside to this whole vacation, other than being stuck with my family for two weeks with no friends, is that I will be trapped in giezertown. This is where all of the old people go to retire. On the bright side, I'll get a lot of alone time in a beautiful place. And don't worry: I'll still be manipping and checking this place every day. Also, I hope to get some lovely stock photos of the beach and stuff. =]
Also, I am back with Frank. Yep! Good ol' Frank! I figured that I couldn't handle all the drama of going from boyfriend to girlfirend to boyfriend to girlfriend to boyfriend with the same two people, and they didn't deserve it either. Maybe I should have just stuck with Frank in the first place. Oh well, everyone's happy now! Except maybe Michael, I think he's sad to lose me. He's okay though. Frank and I are not counting the one month break up because in the long run of our lives, it won't really matter. That means that we've been together for two years and we're working on three. Yay! We hope to move in together in a few years and eventually get married and move to my family's house in the Catskills, New York. All of this sopunds pretty crazy for a seventeen and ninteen year old to be talking about and seriously considering but, oh well. We're in love.
Hmm...what else...oh yeah: stock. I don't think I'll be uploading much horse stock for the next few months because it's winter and all the horses at our barn are blanketed and it sucks to unblanket them when it's 10 degrees Ferinheit just to scare them half to death and take their pictures. Like I said, though, I will try to get you guys some great pictures of the beach and Florida in general. Maybe when we stop overnight on the way down from Indiana I can get pictures there too. Well see. Sorry about the stock! Just think of how much better I'll be when spring rolls around since I'm taking Digital Photography next semester!
Uhh...hmm. What else could I tell y'all. Well, I could talk to you about what's been going down in my life. Aside from the relationship drama, I got in a car accident and got caught doing drugs again. xP The two weren't related, fortunatly, but I'm still grounded from driving until I'm 30 days clean. Also, Dad took away my cell phone, but I should be getting it back soon, which is good 'cause I'm finally getting texting! I asked for it for the vacation so I had a way to keep in touch with my few friends, only two of whom have phones. Oh well. Also, I might be getting Photoshop CS4 soon! All I have to do is find my old iPod and sell it. Then, I can put that money toward the 700 dollar program. If I don't get that, though, I'll at least get Adobe Photoshop Elements 7.0 for Christmas. Which is good because I've been using Paint Shop Pro XI for about two years along with the incredibly outdated Photoshop Elements 2.0. xD Oh well. I still come up with some pretty successfull manips considering I'm using programs that are not nearly as advanced as PS CS4. I can't wait!!
Well, I guess I should wrap this novel up since I still have a lot more work to do before I'm ready for my US History final exam. I hope you all enjoyed reading my crazy blabber and have a happy holiday!
EDIT: I wanted to type more...so I'm going to! This part will basically be a stream of conciousness piece. So basically, I really have to pee right now and I have had to for the last few hours. I don't know why I'm not going. Either I keep forgetting everytime I'm up, I'm too lazy to get up, or I am to focused on what I am doing to care. Oh well, maybe I will later. xP Also, I love how this is the first actual journal I have ever written. I have been here for like...over a year and I am finally taking the time to write and tell you all what's going on. Sorry for the delay! I am just FULL of muse! After I'm doing with this, I plan on "studying" some more...AKA doing another photomanipulation. I am trying to master the beautiful mane and tail painting that =arrsistable, =inPrint, and *devils-horizon have mastered so well. Do you guys have any tips? Maybe I'll just message them and hope that they have the time to help me out. xD *sigh* I don't know what else to say. Frank is really sick; he threw up eleven times in about twelve hours yesterday. Poor guy. I hope he's better in time for his finals later this week. It would suck to have to make them up. Oh, guess what!? He's going to college next semester! Yep! He is starting at Iniaian University Purdue University Indianapolis in January. Fortunatly, that is not very far from me and we can ride the bus to see eachother every weekend. Well...I really want to get to that manip and see if those amazing artists can help me. Thanks all for listening! I love you lots!

Thumb One - She has some beautiful horse stock with some horses in interesting positions. I like this image because it's of hight quality and the expression in the horses's movement.
Thumb Two - GothicBohemianStock has some breathtaking images of castles and mountain views. This particular one is simply amazing! I haven't checked out her gallery fully yet, but I can't wait to see what she's got!

Thumb Four - This is bay far, my favorite of =arrsistable's works. I love the expression in the horse's face and body and the lighting is just superb! The mane and tail are what I aspire to. I hope I am as good as her someday!
Thumb Five - This is an image where the artist (~the-renegade) used my stock for the image. Although she didn't really have any background on Johnny and didn't intend to make a manip about him, it depicts him perfectly and captures his passionate soul.
Thumb Six - This is an AWESOME image!! I love how spooky it is! :devwhnahiros: did a spectacular job shading in the horse and making him look truely spooky. I love the feeling this drawing gives me!
Thumb Seven - Aha. My favorite photograph. This is by my dear friend, :devsuantia:. She is bisexual (by my conversion) and takes great pictures as well as makes wonderful manipulations. I love this image in particular because of the emotion it expresses. They look happy and in love.
Thumb Eight - WOW! The best tutorial EVER! Even if you don't have Photoshop, this is incredibly helpful! Great step-by-step instructions to get you that perfect mane and tail!
Thumb Nine - Anatomy by =Smangii is a beautiful graphic with lots of motion and colours in it. I especially love that it was made in Paint Shop Pro X!

Thumb One - Untrue was inspired by the album Untrue by Burial. It is some amazing stuff. It's like...dark dance music. I lurve it. xD Anyway, I adore how the horse's head is a skull and I am impressed that I changed the wings from their original white to a black that matched the horse. I love the overall feel of this image and am very proud of it.
Thumb Two - Vectorized Kitty! ^^ I had a lot of fun with this medium for a while. I got bored one day and decided to take Gooched and vectorize her! It's all very time-consuming, but well worth it! Just look at her! Aww. xDD
Thumb Three - Winning Note; my horse. I love the energy and personality I captured in this photograph. Truely spectacular! I also like how clear and crisp it is. What a cutie!
Thumb Four - My Johnny series of stock became instantly popular. Most of the images of mine that people use are from it. This is probably my favorite because of the intensity I captured in his gallop. Yay!
